What is an honor/tribute gift?

An honor/tribute gift is a gift to honor or remember someone. You can make an honor gift for a special occasion, like a birthday, anniversary or wedding. You can make a tribute gift in memory of someone who has passed away. If you would like us to notify someone that you make a gift in their honor or in memory of a loved one, you can choose on the online donation form to make an honor/tribute gift with either an eCard acknowledgement or a mailed card acknowledgement.

How do I make an honor/tribute gift?

To make an honor/tribute gift, return to the online donation form.

After you have chosen your donation amount and gift designation you can choose to make the honor/tribute gift with either an eCard acknowledgement or a mailed card acknowledgement.   The e-card acknowledgement will allow you to notify the person you are honoring via e-mail.  If you choose to send a mailed card acknowledgement, Children's will mail a card notifying the person who is being honored.
